Manda is a first-year PhD candidate at the Centre for Horticultural Science. Her research focuses on the complex interactions between plant viruses, their insect vectors, and host plants, with the aim of developing a holistic strategy for crop protection. She is investigating the role of associated RNA in the pathogenicity of Turnip Yellows Virus to inform more effective and sustainable plant disease management strategies.
