International Symposium on Digestive Physiology of Pigs
The 14th International Symposium on Digestive Physiology of Pigs will be held in Brisbane (Australia) between the 21st and the 24th of August 2018 (DPP2018). Previous conferences have become recognised as the definitive international scientific forum on digestive physiology of pigs.
The Australasian pig science and industry community have united and aim to meet the high standards set by the previous meetings. Among other initiatives, are particularly proud to introduce a student program to assist MPhil/PhD candidates to attend the conference.
The scientific framework of the program will be centered around the digestive system, focusing on specific aspects such as the emerging areas of the Microbiota and the nutrient chemosensory mechanisms in the pig gastrointestinal tract. In particular, it will target the latest advances in the field of digestive physiology, which will illustrate the future research trends. The program committee would like to encourage proposals for potential Satellite Symposia as well.
