The Researchers in Agriculture for International Development(RAID) network, together with the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), are hosting a free networking event to be held in conjunction with the TropAg2017 conference.The event is supported by the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC).

The event will bring together a diverse mix of early, mid- and senior-career researchers and industry stakeholders with an interest in agricultural research and international development. The primary aim of the event is to connect early and mid-career researchers with senior researchers and experienced professionals from the private and industry sectors, to facilitate knowledge and information sharing. The event will include a series of short presentations from a selection of TropAg2017 conference delegates, a speed meet networking session, and an informal networking session with drinks and canapés.
