Currently, I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Centre for Animal Science, Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), funded by Australian Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship. My project aims to investigate the Pathology and Pathogenesis of Buffalo Fly Lesions and Factors Determining Variation of Susceptibility Amongst Cattle.

Before that, I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2014 with 3rd distinction and awarded with a Bronze Medal from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan, due to my excellent achievement in academics. I completed my M.Phil. in Veterinary Pathology in 2017 and my thesis topic is “Study of Pathological effects of AFB1 Intoxicated Feed in Fowl Adenovirus Infected Broiler Birds”. I had published 07 research articles in well reputed impact factor journals.

Due to my academic achievements, I was offered a lecturer position at UAF in 2015, where I served for more than three years. My responsibilities were teaching and research. Moreover, I also remained Co-In charge of university diagnostic laboratory for one year.
During my graduation, I worked as research assistant in USDA funded project entitled; “Arthropod functional genomics, building community resources for animal health”. I also experienced dairy development department of NESTLE PAKISTAN as an internee.
I have a good command on animal disease diagnosis and developed my expertise in histopathology, ELISA and PCR. In the future, I am interested to work in animal disease diagnosis and prevention.
